Africana fabric also commonly referred to as Ankara or Kitenge, is bright cotton cloth with batik inspired prints and is popular in

West Africa.

Hand wash in cold water or wash on cold delicate cycle.

Wash alone or with like colors.

Hang to dry or dry on low.

 

 

Country Cloth

Country cloth is a woven fabric made from cotton, wool or discarded clothing. In Sierra Leone country cloth is a valued commodity usually given as gifts, dowries or worn by community chief during special ceremonies.

 Due to the handwoven nature gentle spot cleaning is recommended.

Decorative use suggested.
